Situated on the shores of the great Lake Wakatipu is the widely-renowned Creative Queenstown Arts and Crafts Market.
Held every Saturday on the lake front at Earnslaw Park, tens of vendors head out to set up their stalls with all their cute, unique and amazing items they have created and put up for sale.
Old shells of .22 bullets are recycled into keychains, bracelets and more; handmade jewellery made from shells, metal and pounamu can be found in abundance – each with a slightly unique touch.
Knitted and crocheted items, soaps that look good enough to eat, beautiful art prints and quirky kids toys can also be discovered amongst the range of items for sale.
The Creative Queenstown Arts and Crafts Markets are set in a vibrant colourful arena, where visual and performing arts meld together for the public and visitors to enjoy. Many artists and crafters from around the South Island come together to display and sell their own quality handmade Art and Craft.
The Creative Queenstown Arts and Crafts Market pride themselves in contributing to Queenstown’s wonderfully relaxed weekends and being able to provide free local musical entertainment for your enjoyment.
